NIGEL MAY

Hi, I’m Nigel May one of the Regional Officers for Herts, Beds & Bucks (HBB). I have loved cars for as long as I can remember, much to the dismay of my parents. My collection of dinky/corgi models was extensive and still occupies some of their loft space. Obviously as I have got older the toys have got bigger, although working life hasn’t provided the funds for a similar sized collection. I purchased my first Mercedes, a 2003 SLK320, in 2010 and joined the club around the same time. In 2016 the 320 was replaced by a 2006 SLK55 which has just recently been exchanged for a 2014 C63. I like attending local car events, watching F1 and visiting Silverstone when I can, which makes a change from my day job of building rocket engines. I am looking forward to working with James and Karen Turner, who have also recently become HBB Regional Officers, to have regular events throughout the region.
